XRP’s regulated Futures debut on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) achieved $19 million in notional trading volume, outpacing Solana’s (SOL) $12.1 million launch in March. The cash-settled contracts, offered in 50,000 XRP and micro 2,500 XRP sizes, saw 150 contracts traded on the first day. Volume dropped to 59 contracts by the second day, equating to approximately $7.59 million at an average reference price of $2.53.

Market sentiment remains bullish, with over 80% of traders predicting a spot XRP ETF approval by 2025. XRP now joins Bitcoin (BTC), ethereum (ETH), and Solana (SOL) as the fourth digital asset with CME Futures listings—a significant milestone highlighting growing institutional interest.
